DVD wont play in player?
Me and my boyfriend bought the movie Witless Protection, last night and we tried to play it and it wouldnt even go to the main menu. He thought it was his player( we use his xbox to play dvd’s, it has that capability) but we put another dvd in it and it played just fine. So now we think its the movie itself. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Okay my dad went to the doctor the other day to get a blood test they did the blood test and they told him that in the blood they found that the prostate maybe a little big . My dad is a diabetic he is 55 years he has been a diabetic for 10 years. He is going to do a prostate exam friday. Could this be prostate cancer? Because i heard all men over the age of 50 have to do a prostate exam. Im just scared for my dad is this cancer deadly? Can they stop it. How common is it? The size of the prostate cannot be determined by a blood test and it is normal for them to enlarge as men age. This is the most common cancer in men, but you are making a huge leap to be thinking cancer just because he is having his first exam.

No, and enlarged prostate can only cause erectile dysfunction. There are medicines that help this, it is nothing to be worried about, it is pretty common actually.

Its just an exam, I would not worry about it, enlarged prostrate is a condition common in men as they get older. The good news is that, even in the very worst case scenario, prostate cancer progresses very slow compared to most other cancers, and many men as a result do not seek often toxic conventional treatment. He should try saw palmetto, an inexpensive, safe remedy for prostate trouble. See this link.

It becomes commoner with age, a small increase in the blood test is most likely due to enlargement of prostate not cancer but this isn’t absolute, physical exam will show any hard areas (more likely to be cancer) If there is anything suspicious then biopsy will be done if not a rpt blood test in 3-6 months.

Book recommendation for independent novel project?
I have to choose 2 of the following books to read for an independent novel project for school. I’m not totally sure which book I want to read. Here is a little info about me so you know what type of person I am: I am teenage male who is looking for a novel more geared towards males and I am not looking for something extremely difficult.
The list of books are: Martin Amis’ Time’s Arrow or London Fields, Albert Casmus’ The Stranger, Herman Hesse’s Steppenwolf, Ivan Turgenev’s Fathers and Sons, Italo Calvino’s If On a Winter’s Night a Traveler, Virginia Woof’s To the Lighthouse, or Jean Rhys’ Wide Sargasso Sea.
Any recommendations are very much appreciated.
Steppenwolf and The Stranger are GREAT books.
